Is entry to the basilica charged?
No, entry is free and without reservation required for individual visits. Only guided tours for groups require prior booking.
Are there toilets on site?
The toilets, located on the Fourvière esplanade next to Café Fourvière, are freely accessible from 8am to 9pm.
Can we leave our luggage somewhere?
The Fourvière sanctuary does not have luggage storage. In accordance with the Vigipirate plan, no luggage may be left at the Notre-Dame de Fourvière site.
Is there a reception service or information area?
Visit the esplanade from 10am to 5pm at the reception pavilion for all information.
Are photos allowed in the basilica?
Yes, photos without flash are permitted in the basilica. However, we ask you to be discreet and respect prayer times and ongoing celebrations.
