Fourvière: a symbolic site for Lyon and its region

It’s an important historical site with the foundation of Lugdunum, a great cultural place, an important tourist site with more than 2,5 million visitors every year, being thus the most visited site in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. The city and Metropolis of Lyon have applied for a labelisation « Grand Site de France » for all the entire hill of Fourvière.

The Fourvière Foundation, owner of the basilica and the buildings around, has launched a major project with cultural, social and economic dimensions. 

The Fourvière project will enable the tourist development of the whole hill of Fourvière, which makes an economic challenge for the city of Lyon and its area.

An adaptable parternship

We attempt to define with each company or foundation an adaptable partnership corresponding to the expectations and abilities of the partner. Our wish is  to create a special relationship and trust.

You can offer your support in different ways:

• Financial Sponsorhip: Support the whole project or a specific project , Creation of the Discovery Area, restoration of the heritage site, an exhibition, a concert, a social project, in participating to its funding thanks to a donation with a cash payment.
• Sponsorship in kind  or in skills: Contribute to a project in bringing a material support (objects) or a skill (service provision).

Becoming a sponsor, you affirm youself as a corporate citizen, committed and strongly held in this area, you are the actor of the economic development of your region.

TAX BENEFITS

The Fourviere Foundation is a foundation recognised of public utility. The 1st August 2003 law relating to sponsorship  allows the firms to have a reduction on their taxes: 60% of the sum of their donation deducted from the taxes of their firm, in the limit of 0.5 % of their turnover before Tax. In case  of budget surplus  or non profit-making budget  this fiscal advantage may be postponed on the 5 following fiscal years.

COMPENSATIONS

Beyond  a meaningful commitment , we are pleased to express our gratitude  in offering you compensations, in the limit of 25% of the amount  of your donation:

• Room reservation at a reduced price
• Guided tour of the site for your customers and  collaborators
• A plate  with the name of your  firm
