How to have a mass said
Every mass is celebrated for Church and the whole world.
Church suggests to Christians that they ask for sharing intentions during mass, an important moment in which the celebrant can entrust the intentions of the congregation prayer.
These intentions can be asked for the living or the deceased, but also as a thanksgiving or mercy for happy events, for the sick or for suffering people.
Asking for a mass also contributes to the financial life of Church, of the diocese and its priests. It’s an offering which contributes to the subsistence of the priests ; the mass is free.
For information only, the recommended offering is 18€ for an intention, 180€ for a novena (during 9 days running) and 560€ for a Gregorian trental (30 masses on 30 days running).
