Eucharistic adoration
In the 13th century a devotion centred on the host, the eucharistic adoration, occurs in the Church.
When you come to the basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, you can participate in regular worship scheduled every day of the week and at weekends.
Times of the eucharistic adoration:
- From Tuesday to Friday after the 5:30 p.m. mass
- Saturday after the 7:15 a.m. mass
- Sunday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The times of eucharistic worship are in the Chapel of the Virgin.
The Church and the world are in great need of eucharistic belief. Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love (…) Let our worship never end.
